Westcliff House: Phase I 

Nestled within an affluent coastal community and at the head of two bays, Westcliff House provides enviable waterfront living with the most stunning ocean views, surrounded by bars, restaurants and a golf course. 

Formerly a care facility, the original building had lain derelict for over ten years and subject to repeated anti-social behaviour. However, an intensive 24-month construction programme delivered meticulous refurbishment alongside contemporary new build elements, creating lightweight fifth storey penthouses and substantial one to four storey extensions to the side and rear.  

The project presented some challenges including significant temporary propping of the structure, high winds and supply chain issues brought about at the peak of Covid19. But phased or overawed we were not.  

The building now features spacious living areas with floor to ceiling windows to many of the properties, plus balconies, terraces, a high-resolution video entry system, shared gardens with BBQ facilities, bike storage, communal satellite, a lift and car parking with EV charging facilities.
